Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart lived in Salzburg for his first 25 years. Born in the city on January 27, 1756, he spent his youth and early adulthood there before permanently relocating to Vienna at the end of 1780. As a gifted musician and composer, he left a legacy that lives on today. The yellow building is where he was born. Then his family moved to the pink building, which is now a museum.

We went to a concert one afternoon in the recital hall where Mozart once performed. There were two gifted musicians, a violinist and a pianist. The music brought joy to my ears.

Mozart died young at 35 years. In poverty, he was buried in a mass grave. His “mass” fame came after his death. To my fellow writers, your stories live on after you die. Don’t give up.
