A Letter to You from God

In “God Delights in You” group, a woman shared how much this letter touched her. I want to share it with you today.

Dearest One (your name),

“When you are afraid, I am with you.

When you feel distressed, I am your God.

I will give you strength and be your helper

With my righteous hand.”  Is. 41:10

“I know how hard this situation is for you.

I suffered deeply when I became human.

I cannot explain now why this is happening to you.

                   For my thoughts and ways are higher than yours.”   Is. 55: 8-9.

“Trust me that I will be there with you.

My understanding is endless

I will comfort your weary soul and renew your strength.

                  We will soar together across the sky like eagles!”  Is. 40: 28-31

“I want you to forget the past.

Do not dwell on it anymore.

You are a different person today.

I have forgiven you.” Is.43:18

“I will send you a Wonderful Counselor,

A Mighty God,

 An Everlasting Father, not like your earthly father.

Your Prince of peace!”    Is. 9:6
